Fund 17's Capital Ready program includes a series of educational workshops, followed by one-on-one financial counseling to prepare entrepreneurs to secure a business loan. Attendance to at least one of the Capital Ready educational workshops is a prerequisite for Capital Ready one-one-one counseling.

In this workshop, Flyte Financial Literacy Coaching will cover personal finance basics. The session will highlight budgeting and saving best practices, what it means to make smart decisions regarding your money, and how to build wealth for the future.

New Orleans is a city of Neighborhoods. The annual Neighborhood Summit celebrates the strength, history, and diversity of our city's neighborhoods, bringing together community leaders, non-profit agencies, and city government. First held in 2012, the annual summit continues to grow each year.

At the summit, neighborhood leaders and residents share information across communities, develop new skills to bring home, and build relationships old and new.

This meeting occurs every second Thursday of the month. 

Our monthly meeting will be held at the Rhodes Pavilion in the South Broad neighborhood. A free light breakfast will be served. This meeting is open to the public.

Join the SBBC for trick-or-treating this Halloween! We will be visiting pre-registered houses in the Broadmoor residential area (not crossing any major streets). Children ages 5 to 14 are welcome to participate. We are also looking for neighbors to pass out candy and volunteers to help guide the kids!
